This is Saint Nicholas removed from the traditional religious context - still a saint, still for peace, but no longer surrounded by marble, power, and guards. He’s no longer in the temple. He’s in your hands, your room, your office. In a city where temples no longer save. Orthodoxy has been overtaken - not by the Holy Spirit, but by a system of control. Faith has been transformed into governance. The church has become part of the structure. And yet, a person can still pray - through color, through gesture, through silence, or through punk. This is a private liturgy outside the church. Inspired not by gold, but by sharpness and light. A saint you can carry with you.
